Tie Vans Authentic Shoes
The Vans Authentic shoes were originally known as Vans deck shoes. The company began in the mid-1960s and its shoes have been popular ever since. The company not only creates everyday shoes, but also shoes for skateboarding, snowboarding and everyday clothing. If you have a pair of Vans Authentic shoes, you can simply tie them anyway you want; however, there is a specific way that most kids and teens are tying their shoelaces.
Instructions
1. Insert the first shoelace end through the bottom eyelet. Do the same to the opposite shoelace end. Pull on each end to tighten the lace and to make sure there is an even amount of lace on either side of the shoe. Start working the right side of the shoe with the right lace first.
2. Pull the right lace up through the very next eyelet on the right side. Pull the right lace across the shoe and down into the second left eyelet directly across from the right side.
3. Skip the third eyelet on the left side, and instead pull the lace up through the fourth eyelet. Then, pull the lace across the shoe and insert the lace into the right side's fourth eyelet. Pull the lace up through the right side's fifth eyelet to complete that side.
4. Pick up the left lace on the left side of the shoe, which has been pulled through the left side's first eyelet. Skipping the left side's second eyelet, pull the lace up through the left side's third eyelet. Pull the lace across to the right side, and insert the lace through the right side's third eyelet.
5. Cross the lace through the inside of the shoe and pull it out through the left side's fifth eyelet. Tie your shoes as normal.
