1994 ezgo Marathon golf cart won't go? need help on wiring diagram

I have a 1994 Ezgo golf cart that wont move. I can hear the solenoid clicking when I push on the pedal but nothing happens. any ideas? Welcome to the forums. It could be as simple as a defective solenoid or a more involved problem like speed controller or motor. The solenoid is the place to start. It connects the positive of the battery bank to the speed controller. Do you have a meter and know use it ? No I do not have a meter but I could get one. what do I need to do to check the solenoid? I'd say use a test light but since you are working with 36v, a 12v test light may pop. When the solenoid is in-active you will see + voltage only on the heavy wire from the battery. When the solenoid engages you see +36v on both heavy wires. If you have 36v+ on both heavy wires on solenoid.......continue on and check again at the speed controller (B+) and on the motor (A1). (it will be the same wire but connected thru different terminals) The negative lead of the meter gets connected to the B- of the controller or the black wire that goes to the charging receptacle.
