Instructions
Put Rhinestone Flowers on Fingernails.
1. Put at least two coats of colored nail polish on your fingers. You do not need to dry the polish between coats. The slight stickiness will help hold the rhinestones on later.
2. Spread the rhinestones out on the plastic plate. They need to be far enough apart from one another that you can pick up one at a time.
3. Press the pointed end of the toothpick gently into a rhinestone. You should be able to pick up the rhinestone simply by raising the toothpick. If your rhinestones are too hard for this, use a needle instead.
4. Press the rhinestone into the center of your fingernail. This will be the center of the flower.
5. Press five or six more rhinestones around the edge of the central stone to form a flower shape. The nail polish will hold them in place. You can place flower designs on as many of your fingernails as you like.
6. Place a drop of white nail polish on a new plastic plate. This drop does not need to be large, as you will be using it for design supplements only.
7. Dip a new toothpick in the white nail polish. Some will adhere to the tip of the toothpick.
8. Gently draw small V shapes under the rhinestone flowers. These are accents or may look like leaves.
9. Cover all of your nails with a layer of the clear top coat. This will help protect your nail designs and keep nails looking professional and shiny.
