Make Your Hair Grown Faster

Make Your Hair Grown Faster

If you desire long flowing locks, waiting on your hair to grow can feel like an eternity. By taking great care of your hair, you can speed the process up a little. It's important to have healthy hair when you are anxious for it to grow faster. If your hair is damaged, it can break off and split at the end which makes it appear shorter.

Instructions

1. Consume a healthy diet which includes plenty of water. According to WebMD, certain foods can also promote healthy hair. At the top of this list is salmon. Salmon is chock full of omega 3 oils and protein which are vital for strong and lustrous tresses. Another important food is Brazil nuts. These nuts are packed with selenium which fosters a healthy scalp. You must also drink the recommended amount of water each day in order to keep your hair hydrated. Water is important for every bodily function, especially the integumentary system. It's also important to get an adequate amount of sleep each night. Your hair actually grows faster while you are sleeping.

2. Take your vitamins. When your mom had to remind you to take your Flintstone's vitamin as a child, she wasn't just concerned with your immune system. She knew that vitamins were also essential for other things, such as healthy hair. Getting the proper vitamins and minerals is vital for healthy locks. Vitamins B, C and E are great for your hair. Some more important supplements include beta carotene, magnesium, sulfur, zinc, and flaxseed oil. They are important because if they are not present, the cells in the hair cannot fully function metabolically. This means that there would be slow or no hair growth.

3. Try different shampoos. Hair Formula 37 shampoo boasts that it can double your hair growth in 45 days or less guaranteed! See Resources for link. Consumers have also said that Mane 'n Tail Shampoo, which can be found at Wal-Mart, worked for them as well. Check out Long Hair Care Forum link in References for customer reviews.

This shampoo was originally made for horses, but when trainers saw what an amazing job it was doing for the animals, they decided to try it out themselves. The company remarketed the product with a different pH level that is safe for human hair.

4. Massage your scalp. Massaging your scalp keeps it healthy by improving circulation and promoting hair growth. Not to mention it feels wonderful as well! Start at your hairline and make small circular motions with your fingers. Work your way towards the top of your head. Do this twice a day for about five minutes each and you will see an improvement. You can also massage your scalp while shampooing your hair. Do not over-brush your hair. Unfortunately, Marcia Brady was wrong when she said a hundred strokes a day is what kept her hair so beautiful. In fact, too much brushing can cause hair breakage, which keeps it from growing as quickly.

5. Limit the use of curling irons, flat irons, and hair dryers. The heat can wreak havoc on your mane. Let your hair air dry naturally as much as possible. Even special products designed to protect against heat don't work as well as just letting your hair dry naturally. Also avoid permanent hair colors and perms. The chemicals are very damaging to the hair shaft and can limit hair growth.
