Foods With B Vitamins

B vitamins are found in a variety of foods from plant and animal sources. For B vitamins found in vegetables, the deeper the vegetable's color, the richer it is in vitamins. It's important to get enough B vitamins, as they help every organ system in the body work properly. Not getting enough of any one of the B vitamins can result in long or short-term illness.

Foods with vitamin B1 include pork, fish, peas, grains and soybeans.


Foods with Vitamin B2


Vitamin B2 can be found in eggs, nuts, milk, cheese, ice cream, spinach, lettuce, greens and meat.

Dairy foods, meats, eggs, fish and enriched grains contain vitamin B3.


Foods with Vitamin B6


Vitamin B6 is found in fortified cereals, grains, fish, meats, nuts and beans.


Foods with Vitamin B12


Vitamin B12 is only found in animal products such as shrimp, eggs, meat, chicken, pork and milk.
