Make Serum

Get fresh, nourished skin with homemade serum.

Serum is a highly concentrated product that helps to nourish skin with all-natural ingredients. Though similar to typical cream, serum has a high amount of bio-active substances that make it more effective in caring for skin. Making your own serum is quick and simple because it has a natural base. Using a short recipe, you can avoid expensive items and chose the natural ingredients suitable for your skin type.

Instructions

1. Keep oils separate initially.

Place 4 tbsp. of a carrier or vegetable oil of your choice in one small container, and place 30 to 45 drops of an essential oil of your choice in another small container.

2. Sweet almond is a natural carrier oil suitable for all skin types.

Pour 2 tbsp. of the carrier or vegetable oil in one opaque glass dropper bottle.

3. Jasmine is a soothing essential oil.

Add about 35 drops of the essential oil to the carrier or vegetable oil you placed in the opaque glass dropper bottle.

4. Place the remaining 2 tbsp. of carrier or vegetable oil in the opaque glass dropper bottle with the other ingredients. Shake the mixture thoroughly for several minutes.

5. Proper storage increases shelf life.

Keep the bottle in a dry place at a cool temperature.
