As science has taught us more and more about the human body, we've come to understand that conception is quite an undertaking. Many couples often encounter difficulty trying to get pregnant, and it may take a number of attempts to actually find success. While the process itself is almost always enjoyable, it can ultimately become a rather stressful experience, leading to even more problems. One such way to increase the likelihood of a successful pregnancy is to make sure both members are in optimal health. This has led to the use of vitamins as a means to increase a man's sperm count as well as the motility of the sperm.
Instructions
1. Begin taking vitamin C, vitamin E and vitamin B12 each morning. These three vitamins are believed to help with a man's sperm by increasing the actual count or concentration and enlarging the volume of semen produced. Vitamins C and E also act as antioxidants, which should rid the system of "free radicals" that can hinder the metabolic process of sperm.
2. Supplement
3. Make sure to include L-Carnitine in your diet. To support the vitamins you are using to increase your sperm count, you should also try to eat foods rich in L-Carnitine, such as lean red meats, dairy and avocado. L-Carnitine is said to aid in the development of sperm and ensure proper motility.
4. Eliminate certain unhealthy practices from your daily life, including smoking and drug use, as well as decrease (if not quit) the drinking of alcohol. All three habits have shown to decrease a man's sperm count.
