Make A Carrot Facial Mask

Carrots are a great source of Vitamin A, which helps to keep skin healthy.


Facial masks are great for the skin because they nourish and moisturize. Some facial masks are made from carrots because carrots contain large quantities of beta-carotene, which the body converts into Vitamin A. Vitamin A is good for the skin and helps to fight wrinkles. If you'd like to see what carrots can do for your skin, you can make your own carrot facial mask at home with only a couple ingredients.

1. Fill a pot with water, and place it on the stove.


2. Bring the water to a boil, and then add three large carrots to the water.


3. Cook the carrots until they become soft.


4. Empty the pot into a strainer, and then mash the carrots with a potato masher.


5. Put the mashed-up carrots into a bowl, and add 4 1/2 tbsp. of honey.


6. Stir the ingredients together.


7. Put the mixture onto your skin, and leave it on for 10 minutes.


8. Rinse your skin with water to remove the facial mask.
