Vitamins are essential for maintaining a healthy immune system and providing essential nutrients for healthy hair and nails. When taken daily, vitamins strengthen the hair and nails and promote growth. Vitamin E, found in food and hair care products, provides nutrients to make hair shiny and healthy; Vitamin B6, found in fish, dairy products and vegetables, also aids in promoting hair growth. Vitamin E


Vitamin E provides scalp circulation, which promotes hair growth and health. Many shampoos, conditioners and hair styling products contain Vitamin E. Vitamin B6








Vitamin B6 is a water-soluble vitamin, which should be taken daily. It is involved in protein metabolism, necessary to healthy hair growth. By eating fish, cereal and nuts daily, you can receive B6 without supplements. If you consume large amounts of protein, you will need to increase your Vitamin B6 intake. The daily recommended intake for Vitamin B6 is 200 milligrams, and excess amounts should be avoided. Side effects include chest pain, nausea, and skin rashes since it affects the nervous system.
