Stimulate Faster Hair Growth

Drink plenty of water to stimulate hair growth.

Stimulate faster hair growth by making improvements to your diet and overall health. It may surprise you how much what you eat effects the health and vitality of your hair and the speed at which it grows. Typically you should see half an inch of hair growth each month but if this is too slow for you or if you are not seeing this much hair growth; there are ways to stimulate and encourage your hair to grow a little faster.

Instructions

1. Maintain a healthy diet with fruits, vegetables, whole grains and plenty of water to nourish your hair. Fruits and vegetables contain antioxidants which stimulate hair growth.

2. Eat foods with Omega-3 fatty acids such as cold-water fish and flaxseed or take an omega-3 supplement.

3. Take vitamins and supplements to encourage faster hair growth. 1000mcg of biotin, 500mg of silica, 500mg of Methylsulfonylmethane (MSM) have all been known to stimulate hair growth. Take a multi-vitamin daily with a B-complex.

4. Add rosemary to your hair washing routine. Mix a half cup of rosemary herbs to one cup of water. Mix this into your shampoo or rinse your hair directly with the mixture. Another option is to drink three to four cups of rosemary tea a day.

5. Get your hair trimmed every seven to nine weeks to keep your hair healthy and encourage more healthy hair to grow.

6. Use a wide-toothed comb to groom your hair. Avoid using a hairbrush on your hair as it can rip and tear it.

7. Air-dry your hair whenever possible.

8. Rinse your hair with cool or warm water as opposed to hot water.

9. Massage your scalp daily as you wash your hair.
