Increase Hair Growth In Women

Whether your hair concerns are due to hair loss, or just wanting it to grow faster, you may wonder how you can speed up the hair-growth process. A woman's crowning glory is her hair, and is often tied to her self-esteem. Weak, brittle and thinning hair that grows slowly needs additional nutritional support and care. There are medical causes for hair problems which need to be ruled out and/or treated before lifestyle changes can impact the rate at which your hair grows.

Instructions

1. Purchase a quality hair, skin and nails vitamin at your local drug store or online (see Resources). In addition, choose a fish oil or flax seed oil supplement containing omega-3 fatty acids. Daily, take 1 hair/skin/nail vitamin, along with the essential fatty acid supplement.

2. Use satin or silk pillowcases. If you toss and turn at night, this will help your head slide seamlessly over the pillowcase to prevent hair breakage and loss.

3. Keep hair trimmed to prevent breakage and keep new hair growth healthy. Split ends make hair look unpolished and create knots that unnecessarily pull hair out when being brushed or combed.

4. Drink plenty of water and natural fruit juices that contain enzymes. This helps to flush toxins from your body that can clog pores and hair follicles. The key to healthy hair that grows quickly is having a healthy body inside and out.

5. Schedule an appointment with your physician for an annual physical. There are medical conditions that can cause hair growth problems such as thyroid disorder or an imbalance in female hormones.
