Treat Liver Cirrhosis With Vitamins

A good way to help treat Liver Cirrhosis is with vitamins. Although vitamins can not cure Liver Cirrhosis they can help to control the condition and prevent further complications. Vitamins also can help to improve your chances of survival, and sometimes even help to reverse some of the damage of Liver Cirrhosis.

Instructions

1. Take Vitamin E in supplemental form daily. Vitamin E has been shown to help decrease the damage of Liver Cirrhosis and can also help to reduce immune abnormalities that contribute to the development of Liver Cirrhosis. Ideally you should take around 500 IU per day.

2. Take Vitamin D in supplemental form daily. Vitamin D has been shown to prevent a loss of bone in patients with Liver Cirrhosis. This treatment works especially well for those with Primary Biliary Cirrhosis, who are at increased risk for bone loss.

3. Take Vitamin K in supplemental form daily. Vitamin K has been shown to help prevent Liver Cirrhosis but it has recently been shown to help improve the condition as well.
