Revive Aging Skin Herbally

There are many ways to revive aging in the skin through the use of plants and herbs. 1. Apply an herbal moisturizer. Use an herbal moisturizer daily on your face that contains green tea extract, aloe vera and Vitamin E. These all contain antiaging properties. Moisturizing is essential for preventing signs of aging.


2. Drink acai berry in the purest form you can find, every day. Free radicals are what age and decay the body. Antioxidants are the most important factor in antiaging skin care and acai berries are extremely high in antioxidants.


3. Drink aloe vera juice every day. After 30 days the aloe vera juice will visibly replenish collagen in the skin. When applied directly to the skin under moisturizer it will help the skin heal and replenish itself.


4. Place a couple of drops of pure chamomile essential oil in 3 tbsp. of a base oil such as grape seed oil, which is high in antioxidants. Use this mixture as a moisturizing lotion for your skin. Add the contents of a vitamin E capsule to the mixture for added benefits.


5. Take herbal formulas as a "tea" or in tablet form. These may contain lycium fruit, schizandra fruit, reishi mushroom, gynostemma, polygonum root (he shou wu), cordyceps mushroom, longan fruit, wild American ginseng, wild asparagus root, Siberian ginseng, nopal cactus, konjac mannan, wild Chinese ginseng, gymnema sylvestre, peony and dang gui. All of these herbs are Chinese antiaging tonics.
