Natural Hair Growth

Healthy hair starts with a clear and nourished scalp. Many hair products can cause buildup that result in clogged hair follicles and brittle hair growth. Natural hair growth remedies are an easy and effective way to create strong and healthy hair. Most of the ingredients can be found in your kitchen or the local grocery. Natural hair growth remedies are an inexpensive way to make hair beautiful.

Avocados and Bananas

Avocados and bananas aid in hair growth and nourish brittle hair. Bananas strengthen hair because they contain vitamin A and potassium. Vitamin A regulates sebum production in the scalp. This creates a healthy moisture balance that encourages healthy hair growth. Potassium clarifies the scalp by removing any bacteria that could be clogging hair follicles. Avocados are rich in B vitamins needed for hair growth as well as vitamin E. Vitamin E repairs damage on the scalp that can prohibit growth.

Mash 1/4 of a banana and 1/4 of an avocado until you create a creamy paste. After washing the hair, towel dry until it is damp. Massage the banana and avocado hair mask into the scalp and throughout the entire length of hair and cover with a shower cap. Leave in for 30 minutes and rinse out in the shower with warm water.

Eggs

Eggs contain vitamin A, E and B vitamins for scalp repair and moisture balance as well as vitamin D. A deficiency in vitamin D is directly related to hair loss. Eggs are also rich in protein to strengthen and protect the hair. Protein thickens each strand while the other vitamins encourage and support new hair growth.

After beating 1 raw egg, massage it into the scalp and comb throughout hair to distribute evenly. Leave the egg in the hair for 10 minutes and rinse out with cool water. Hot water will scramble the egg and make it difficult to remove.

Rosemary

Egyptian women were the first reported to use rosemary to stimulate hair growth. They dabbed rosemary oil on their hair roots and ends to create long and lustrous hair.

Rosemary is a natural stimulant that boosts circulation and encourages growth. Make rosemary oil by combining 3 tablespoons of dried rosemary leaves with 1 cup of olive oil. Heat in the microwave for 1 minute, careful not to boil and set aside for two days. Strains the leaves from the oil and pour into a clean container.

Apply the rosemary oil to the scalp before bed and cover with a shower cap. Wash out the next morning. Because of the strength of rosemary, do not use if you are pregnant or suffer from seizures.
