Stop A Receding Hairline

Hair loss is something that millions of people face each day, and is not something to look forward to. When hair begins falling out and causing a receding hair line, there are things you can do that should either slow down the rate of loss, or stop it completely. These tips should help you get your hair loss under control, and help stop your hair line from going back any further.

Instructions

1. Wash your hair with a hair loss shampoo. Make sure it contains a DHT (Dihydrotestosterone) blocker such as saw palmetto or nettle root extract. DHT is the hormone that is almost always responsible for causing the hair loss in pattern baldness. Pattern baldness affects more men than women, but is known for the pattern of a receding hairline or thinning that may cause a bald spot near the crown of the head.

2. Massage your scalp twice a day with an essential oil. Lavender and thyme are both good choices for promoting blood flow and circulation to your scalp. With increased blood flow, the nutrients in your blood will help the hair follicles become healthier.

3. Take daily supplements that contain saw palmetto, nettles, B vitamins, Vitamins A, C and E, magnesium and zinc. These are all nutrients that will work together to promote healthy hair growth. They all have a part in making sure your hair is growing, your blood is flowing, and that you are getting everything you need for healthy hair growth.

4. Don't brush or comb your hair hard. Pulling and friction on your hair can cause damage and may cause more loss. Use conditioner to make your hair easier to comb through.

5. Talk to your doctor if hair loss continues and you aren't sure why. Sometimes hair loss can happen because of being deficient in a nutrient, being ill, or taking medication. Make sure you are healthy, and do what you can to take control of your hair health.
