Adults need a variety of vitamins and minerals for a healthy body and lifestyle. Essential vitamins D, C, E, beta-carotene, B, K and iron taken daily prevent the onset of sickness and disease, as well as promote overall well-being. Vitamins, although sometimes produced by the body, come from either food or supplements.








Vitamin D


Vitamin D builds strong bones and teeth. It helps the body absorb calcium and prevents degenerative disease, such as osteoporosis and bone loss, which are both difficult to reverse. D also strengthens tooth enamel and promotes healthy skin.


Vitamin C

Beta-Carotene


Beta-carotene helps with proper cell and tissue growth, preventing the onset of cancer and disease. It helps the body's defenses against free radicals and toxins.

The vitamin B family reduces stress and regulates the central nervous system. It also protects the skin against ultraviolet damage from the sun, especially in those with fair complexions. Vitamin B keeps the skin youthful and free of physical abnormalities, like discolorations and sunspots.

Iron
