Flush Out Fat Cells

Apples help flush fat from the body.


If you feel your body is holding onto fat cells, you can take steps to flush your system. While it may not be possible to remove fat cells, you can help force them to release any built-up toxins and make your body more efficient. This will make it easier to lose weight. Additionally, most fat-flushing techniques double as helpful weight-loss techniques. Remember that weight loss always requires a calorie deficit, so make sure to watch your portion sizes.


Instructions








1. Drink at least eight glasses of water a day. This will help keep all of your cells hydrated, which makes it easier for them to perform necessary functions.


2. Drink green tea. ECGC, a naturally occurring compound found in green tea offers a number of benefits including stimulating metabolism, promoting cell health and reduction of free radicals. Green tea contains about 30 mg of caffeine per cup, so try to replace black tea, coffee and soda with green tea. Most health experts suggest consuming less than 300 mg of caffeine per day.








3. Make the bulk of your meals be fruits and vegetables. Consume as many raw fruits and vegetables as possible. When you consume cooked vegetables, choose those with the least processing and additions. For example, choose steamed vegetables with light seasonings over vegetables sauteed in oil.


4. Cut out all junk food. This includes anything fried, fatty or full of sugar and refined carbohydrates. Skip the fast food, potato chips and candy bars. Instead, consume whole grains, such as brown rice, and lean protein choices, such as beans and legumes.


5. Get exercise every day. Chose high-intensity cardiovascular exercise for the greatest benefits. Try running, swimming, biking, kickboxing or stair climbing. Exercise for 30 minutes to 60 minutes every day of your flushing cleanse. Exercise also helps to reduce stress, which lowers the hormone cortisol. High cortisol levels can cause your body to store fat.
