Cellulite Elimination By Diet & Exercise

Cellulite is the buildup of fatty toxins beneath the skin. It's common. It's ugly. And it's not easy to eliminate. Many factors contribute to the creation and appearance of cellulite, but the main culprits are diet, genetics and lifestyle. Reducing cellulite is not impossible. But unlike many infomercials suggest, there is no quick fix. Eliminating the "cottage cheese" look takes dedication and perseverance. You need a long-term, sustained plan to improve your diet, purge toxins from your system, improve circulation and exercise on a regular basis. There are no magic pills or creams for cellulite.

Detox

Cellulite is primarily a fatty toxic build-up. It's different from normal fat in that it is not smooth and is stored in loose pockets just beneath the skin. The first steps in reducing the appearance of cellulite should be to eliminate your toxin intake and purge toxins from the body. There are many ways to do this, including juice fasting or consumption of only organic fruits and vegetables for a period of 3-7 days. This action is will begin to eliminate stored toxins and cellulite because fruits and vegetables are high in fiber and contain minerals that rid the body of pollutants. If this action is too extreme, try limiting dietary choices to all-natural and whole foods, which are naturally low in saturated fat and refined sugars but high in fiber. Also, you will need to eliminate your intake of alcohol, coffee, cigarettes and other pollutants.

Diet

After the detox, you will need to adopt a diet that will help you loose cellulite. Eat fruits and vegetables that are high in antioxidants, such as berries, grapefruit, spinach, tomatoes and bell peppers. Oily fishes, nuts and seeds are also appropriate for weight loss; they are essential sources of good fatty acids. The mixture of these fatty acids and antioxidant minerals will help to regulate your metabolism. Drinking lots of water daily will also help flush toxins from your system. Avoid processed foods, refined sugars, sodas and excessive amounts of animal protein; these are the foods that generally cause cellulite buildup. Eating a healthy diet will also improve the functioning of your digestive system. A healthy digestive system eliminates waste; the better it functions, the less waste gets stored as cellulite.

Exercise

Tension, stress and lack of exercise are also contributing factors in cellulite buildup. Getting regular exercise will help reduce stress and tension as well as increase circulation, which is paramount for eliminating cellulite. Exercising a minimum of three times per week is recommended, but, ideally, every day is best. Even a brisk walk will stimulate circulation and reduce cellulite buildup. Exercise routines that incorporate yoga and Pilates are also great stress relievers.
