Tune My Hd Plasma Tv

Tuning a plasma TV's channels is an automated process.

Tuning a plasma TV with a built-in tuner is an easy process. Most modern plasma sets incorporate a menu-level operation that will automatically detect and memorize channels. Tuning a plasma set in this manner is very similar to tuning stations on a digital radio tuner; the unit will ignore stations that are at too low of a level to set and will make available the rest. All that is needed for this operation is the remote and manual if you're unfamiliar with the set's menu.

Instructions

1. Connect the antenna or cable feed to the appropriate connector on the rear of the plasma. Turn on the television.

2. Access the plasma's internal setup menu. You usually have to press the "Menu" or "Setup" button on the remote control. Consult the manual to determine the button keystrokes needed on the remote to perform this task.

3. Navigate to the "Channel" or "Tuner" section of the internal menu. It may be necessary to inform the television that you will or won't be scanning for HD channels. Consult the unit's manual for specific labeling.

4. Go to the "Auto" or "Memorize" section of the "Channel" submenu. Begin the channel memorization process, allowing a few minutes for the channels to be set and stored in memory.
