Eat Concord Grapes

Grapes are a source of valuable vitamins and nutrients.

While you are likely familiar with eating seedless grapes purchased at the grocery store, eating a Concord grape requires a special technique because of its thick skin and the seeds contained within. Concord grapes are most often used to make juices and jellies. They are an effective energy source and contain a number of vitamins, such as A, B1, B2 and C.

Instructions

Squeezing the Grape

1. Place the grape between your lips.

2. Squeeze the berry firmly to break the skin. This releases the juice, which is the sweetest part of the grape.

3. Swallow the pulp and seeds. Dispose of the skin.

Chewing the Grape

4. Place the whole Concord grape into your mouth.

5. Chew the grape while you enjoy the flavor of the pulp and juice.

6. Spit out the seeds and skin once you've depleted the Concord grape of its juice and pulp.
